Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive physical therapy treatment that uses acoustic pressure waves to stimulate healing in damaged soft tissue, reduce chronic pain, and improve mobility. Performed by a licensed physical therapist, each session targets one body area and includes mobility and stretching exercises.
This session is ideal for individuals with chronic tendon pain, heel pain (plantar fasciitis), shoulder calcifications, or conditions that have not responded to rest or conventional therapy. It is commonly sought by active individuals, athletes, and patients looking for a non-surgical option for persistent musculoskeletal pain.

- Mobility Exercises
- Stretching Exercises
- Session Duration: approximately 30 minutes
One body area refers to one treatment region per session — for example, the heel, shoulder, elbow, knee, or Achilles tendon.
What to Expect:
- A handheld device delivers controlled pressure waves to the target area
- Mild discomfort or a tapping sensation is normal during treatment
- Some patients experience temporary soreness or redness in the treated area after the session
- Multiple sessions may be recommended for optimal results
Do Not Book If You Have:
- Active infection, open wounds, or skin lesions in the treatment area
- A blood clotting disorder or current use of anticoagulant medication
- Presence of metal implants or a pacemaker near the treatment site
- Cancer in or near the treatment area
- Pregnancy
