Flu Vaccination
Get your annual flu shot at Patient First — with a FREE in-house doctor’s pre-vaccination assessment included. Each year, the DOH and WHO update their recommended influenza strains, and so does our vaccine.
For the current flu season, we are offering the Fluprevli Trivalent Influenza Vaccine by Sanofi — a clinically validated formulation that protects against two influenza A subtypes and one influenza B strain.
Recommended annually for adults and children aged 6 months and older. The vaccine is administered by our clinical team following your complimentary doctor’s assessment, which confirms suitability and flags any individual risk factors before the shot is given.
Medical Inclusions:
- Annual influenza vaccine — 1 dose of Fluprevli Trivalent Influenza Vaccine by Sanofi, administered by our clinical team
- In-house doctor’s pre-vaccination assessment — included at no additional cost
What to Expect:
- Protection typically develops within 1–2 weeks of vaccination
- Mild injection-site reactions (soreness, redness, swelling) may occur and usually resolve within 1–2 days
- Low-grade fever, mild fatigue, or muscle aches may occur in the first 1–2 days post-vaccination — these are normal immune responses
- Serious reactions are rare; the on-site doctor’s assessment before vaccination helps identify any individual risk factors beforehand
- No downtime is required — most patients resume normal activities immediately after their visit
- Annual revaccination is recommended as influenza strains are updated each season
Do Not Purchase If You Have:
- Severe allergy to any component of the current flu vaccine formulation, including egg protein
- History of severe allergic reaction (anaphylaxis) to a previous influenza vaccine
- Active febrile illness (moderate to severe fever) — vaccination should be deferred until recovery
- Prior history of Guillain-Barré Syndrome within 6 weeks of a previous influenza vaccine
- Children under 6 months of age
