Rehabilitation Medicine at Patient First

Injuries, chronic pain, or mobility issues shouldn’t keep you from daily life.

At Patient First Medical Clinic and Diagnostics Center, we offer walk-in consultations with our Rehabilitation Medicine doctor for patients recovering from injury, surgery, stroke, or dealing with persistent musculoskeletal issues.

Our team supports your return to function with individualized evaluations and physical therapy planning.

What Is Rehabilitation Medicine—and Who Should See a Rehab Doctor

Rehabilitation Medicine, also known as Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R), focuses on restoring physical function and reducing pain without surgery. It is ideal for patients managing long-term orthopedic conditions, neurologic recovery, or functional limitations from chronic illness.

See a Rehabilitation Medicine specialist if you:

  • Are recovering from an orthopedic procedure or injury

  • Experience chronic joint or muscle pain

  • Have post-stroke weakness or coordination problems

  • Need physical therapy evaluation or clearance

  • Have difficulty with balance, walking, or daily activities

  • Require rehab for scoliosis, posture issues, or work-related strain

Conditions We Help Manage

At Patient First, our Rehab Medicine doctor evaluates and supports:

  • Post-fracture and post-surgical rehab

  • Muscle weakness, contractures, or movement disorders

  • Neck and lower back pain

  • Tendonitis or repetitive strain injuries

  • Joint stiffness, especially post-immobilization

  • Stroke recovery and mobility retraining

  • Pediatric gait or developmental concerns

Whether you’re newly diagnosed or continuing an existing plan, we help track progress and adjust treatment as needed.
