Annual Physical Exam (APE)

Whether you're checking in on your personal health or arranging annual screenings for your employees, our Annual Physical Exam (APE) packages at Patient First are designed for early detection, prevention, and peace of mind.

We offer walk-in APEs for individuals as well as customized corporate programs for companies who want to safeguard their team’s well-being.

What Is an APE?

An APE is a yearly medical assessment that includes a physical exam, laboratory testing, and imaging (when indicated). It’s used to evaluate your current health status, detect early warning signs, and support long-term wellness planning.

A typical APE may include:

  • Complete medical history and lifestyle assessment

  • Physical exam and vital signs (BP, pulse, BMI)

  • Blood tests: CBC, FBS, lipid profile, liver/kidney function

  • Urinalysis

  • ECG or chest X-ray (if indicated)

  • Medical clearance or follow-up plan based on results

Our APE packages are guided by licensed physicians, ensuring each test is medically appropriate and each result is interpreted in the context of your personal health.

APEs for Individuals

We welcome walk-in patients for personal APEs—no appointment or referral required. Whether you’re getting a health check as part of your wellness routine, a medical clearance for work or travel, or monitoring a condition, we’ll guide you through the entire process.

Your exam will be conducted efficiently on-site, with most labs and imaging performed in the same visit. You’ll leave with a better understanding of your health and the guidance you need to move forward confidently.

Looking for a More In-Depth Health Check?

If you're seeking a more comprehensive evaluation than a standard APE, our Executive Check-Up (ECU) Packages offer expanded testing, physician consults, and customized wellness guidance tailored to your age and risk profile:

  • SPARK Package – Designed for individuals under 45 who want to maintain peak health and catch lifestyle-related risks early.

  • WISE Package – Ideal for adults 45–59 managing midlife health concerns like cholesterol, hormonal changes, and metabolic health.

  • SHIELD Package – Tailored for patients 60 and above, with a focus on bone health, cognitive wellness, and age-related risks.

Each package is doctor-guided, preventive, and delivered in a single-visit format for convenience.

APEs for Corporations

We also offer corporate APE programs for businesses and organizations looking to meet regulatory requirements, support employee health, or prepare for insurance enrollment.

Corporate APE features:

  • Customizable test packages

  • Pre-employment, annual, or return-to-work exams

  • Group scheduling and reporting for HR

  • Fast turnaround and flexible coordination

Our team will work with your company to design a package suited to your team’s needs.

Integrated Care, One Location

If your results suggest the need for follow-up care, you don’t need to go far. Our in-house specialists in Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Endocrinology, and other medical specialties are available to help you continue your care plan without delays.

When Should You Get an APE?

An APE should be done once every 12 months, even if you’re not experiencing symptoms. This annual schedule allows for early detection of common concerns like:

  • Hypertension

  • Diabetes

  • High cholesterol

  • Liver or kidney issues

  • Respiratory and cardiac concerns

For best results, we recommend doing your APE at roughly the same time each year, such as before your birthday or the start of a new job contract.
