Expert Care for Hormonal Imbalances and Metabolic Conditions

Hormones affect everything from your energy to your blood sugar to your mood. If you’ve been feeling "off" but can’t explain why, it may be time to see an endocrinologist.

At Patient First Medical Clinic and Diagnostics Center, we offer endocrinology consultations to help diagnose and manage conditions related to the body’s hormone system.

We provide clinic-based evaluation, lab testing, and ongoing management for a wide range of endocrine disorders—all in one convenient location.

What Is Endocrinology?

Endocrinology is the medical field that focuses on hormones—the chemical messengers that regulate your metabolism, growth, blood sugar, and other vital functions. Endocrinologists diagnose and manage disorders of glands such as the thyroid, pancreas, adrenal glands, ovaries, and testes.

At Patient First, we help patients of all ages understand and manage common hormonal conditions through:

  • Early detection

  • Accessible, in-clinic testing

  • Personalized treatment plans

  • Ongoing follow-up and medication monitoring

Whether you're managing diabetes or concerned about a thyroid issue, our endocrinology team is here to guide you clearly and compassionately.

Common Endocrine Conditions We Manage

Our endocrinologists evaluate and treat a wide range of hormone-related concerns, including:

  • Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, Gestational)

  • Thyroid disorders (Hyperthyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Goiter, Thyroid nodules)

  • Metabolic syndrome / Obesity-related conditions

  • Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)

  • Adrenal gland disorders (e.g., Cushing’s Syndrome)

  • Hormonal imbalances (fatigue, irregular periods, mood swings)

  • Low testosterone or menopause-related symptoms

  • Pituitary gland abnormalities

  • Calcium and vitamin D disorders (e.g., parathyroid dysfunction)

When to See an Endocrinologist

Consider an endocrinology consultation if you’re experiencing:

  • Persistent fatigue or unexplained weight changes

  • Irregular menstrual cycles or fertility issues

  • Symptoms of uncontrolled blood sugar (frequent urination, blurred vision, excessive thirst)

  • Heat or cold sensitivity

  • Hair thinning or excessive hair growth

  • Palpitations or tremors

  • Persistent mood swings or anxiety

  • Swelling in the neck or signs of thyroid enlargement

You don’t need a referral to see an endocrinologist at Patient First. If you’ve been feeling symptoms without a clear diagnosis—or have already been diagnosed and need follow-up care—we’re here to help.

Our Endocrinology Specialists

Our endocrinologists take a holistic, personalized approach—listening to your concerns, explaining test results clearly, and tailoring treatments to your lifestyle and goals. Whether you’re adjusting insulin, managing PCOS, or treating a thyroid imbalance, our doctors are here to walk with you step by step.

We also collaborate with internal medicine, OB-Gyne, and other specialists to provide comprehensive support when your condition overlaps with other systems of care.
