Dr. Restituta Magpantay

Dr. Restituta Magpantay is a Family Medicine specialist at Patient First Makati, providing primary care for patients across the stages of life. Her qualifications run deep: a Doctor of Medicine, a Master of Public Health, a Master of Public Administration, and a Doctor of Public Administration, backed by more than 30 years in health care.

Much of that experience is in public health leadership at the Department of Health (DOH) CALABARZON, where she led the Family Health Cluster and served as the region's ISO Certification Quality Internal Auditor and ARTA Point Person, and for five years as Regulatory and Licensing Officer Leader. During the pandemic she was appointed Regional Head for COVID-19 Response and Vaccination.

She has collaborated with international development agencies including UNICEF, USAID, and JICA on programs for Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN) and family planning, and is a recognized trainer and speaker on those subjects and on the regulation and licensing of health facilities. In all, she brings over 35 years across healthcare operations, from patient services to facility and community engagement.

For the everyday side of family practice, screening and monitoring run through the laboratory in the clinic, with an annual physical exam for a routine adult check.
